Con una construcción precisa y duradera, el S-1000 de UNICO es un espectrofotómetro fácil de usar e ideal para uso educativo en escuelas y universidades. Este equipo se usa en análisis y experimentos generales como Lambert–Beer, espectro de absorción, clorofila, proteína (Biuret) y otros. El S-1000 tiene filtros secundarios que reducen la luz espuria, incrementando de esta manera la exactitud de los resultados. Diseñado con el estudiante en mente, este espectrofotómetro incluye un dispositivo en el dial de selección de onda que protege el monocromador y la red de difracción. La pantalla digital es amplia para una lectura fácil y la salida de datos análoga permite recopilar datos o imprimirlos.
